That's right, folks. Who went to the Coldplay concert last night? Me.
Bu I'm too damn tired to talk about in depth so let me just say it was awesome. I also have some pretty good photos, if I ever get 'em up here they'll be sweet.
Oooy. I've been sick for a few days. I don't think going to a concert was the brightest idea but hey, it was Coldplay. And Rilo Kiley opened for them, which was also incredible. I really like them.
I bought some cool stuff, a shirt for myself and some things for my sis. Poor Charlotte. The only reason I got to go was because she's in NYC and I'm here. Sucks, right? Not for me, of course, but still.

Ok, I must go in depth. Only to solidify it in my head and make sure it wasn't a dream.
Awesome graphics. They had this long, thin screen above them that showed all sorts of lights and graphics. At one point, I think it was in "Clocks", the screen read, "Get your camera ready, take a picture, 3...2...1" and everyone took a picture at the same time. The screen reflected all of the camera flashes and it was the coolest thing. It looked like stars, but we knew it was just us.
Their lights were awesome, too. I guess the first half of the show was the bright-lights portion, because the second half was different. They all came down to the center of the stage and gathered in a little circle. They just played like that. The connection between all of them was so palpable, it was beautiful.
Medora and I managed to sneak pretty close a few times. I got some good pictures, I really need to put them up. All of them are so cute! Of course, Chris Martin is very attractive, but Charlotte and I think it's all about the bass player. He's kind of dorky cute, you know? Or maybe it's just the bass? Who knows.
Oh, and this still shocks me: Chris Martin went down into the audience. Not to be a downer, but I'd be worried about my safety, honestly. He ran to the edge of the regular seating, climbed onto the rail and sang a few choruses there. It was amazing. I was about fifteen feet away from him. Stellar.
And that's about all I can think of...sorry, mates, after the concert I went to Medora's house and we stayed up far too late. So I'm all spacey and out of it. If I think of anything cool later on I'll come back.
