Last night I sang/lip-sinched for the opening ceremony of the Jewish Maccabi Games. It's this big, almost Olympic-type gathering of Jews from 12 to 17, they compete in games and everything at the Mesquite Rodeo. There were kids from all over the world, like Isreal and Canada. I talked to some kids from Canada, which was so awesome.

The theme was "Wild, Wild West" so I wore a pink cowboy hat and a baby-blue cowboy shirt and cowboy boots. It was hilarious, trust me, and if I ever learn how to put pictures up here, that one's coming up. Sad thing, though, it turns out a can't move right to left in a rhythmic manner. I'm doomed next year in dance classes.

So...I figured I should tell you guys about my wild west night surrounded by Jews wearing cowboy hats. Jewish people are so cute...Oh, and to kick off the ceremony, some kids sang the assorted anthems to represent the different countries there, and I heard the whole Canadian anthem! Well, the version they usually sing, anyway. I never knew that The Star Spangled Banner had more verses than the ones we typically sing. Whodathunk? So, huzzah for the Canadian anthem! It was pretty, but I still hold the opinion that out anthem is the best, haha!

And this means I'm getting paid, soon. Woot.
