I'd forgotten about that...
Well, I've apparently been quoted in the Echo. Len, a friend and "roaming reporter", asked me what my opinion was on... oh goodness, I've forgotten the question. I know that my answer had something to do with religion, but...
Oh well. Apparently they chose mine as one of the many to go into the Echo. I wonder how much they put in (I gave a lengthy answer, they wouldn't likely use all of it).
Anyway, I came into the library, today, and Angela (one of the staff) thanked me for my comment, saying that it was a very thought-provoking statement.... I think I'll have to take a look at the Echo.
In other news, my cup/mug/goblet/holy grail is now finished and waiting to be fired. On Friday, we'll get to work with glazes (so much fun!). Anyway, I hope that it will turn out to be something that I want to keep. I don't know, though. It's very lopsided, and it's such an unusual shape. I don't know what I'd use it for. Oh well, goodness knows we need more cups at the house, although, something a little taller might be better. Maybe I'll make another one. I'm tempted to add a ceramics class next semester, but that would put me in overload again, and I don't want to be there. Maybe I'll take the class unofficially. Monitor, or whatever they call it. ... but that would mean getting up at 9:00 in the morning on MWF, when, for the first time since I came to this campus, I wasn't going to have to get up until 11:00. What kind of crazy person would give that up? *grin*
