I hear you. The worst part of giving up on rasfc again was having my pleasure at having Zeborah and Catja on tap again cut short. The elljay is not the same.

It might not be the same, but I *do* talk about writing on my journal, and I also have beyond_elechan (which, as usual, is in need of an update) where I put more targetted essays.

LJ is not the same. #rasfc on IRC is cool (seriously, none of the crazy people are there! come visit!) but not the same. Nowhere would be the same. But then rasfc as it is isn't the same either.

Well, I'll stay and fight for it for as long as I can, and we'll see how things work out.

I may try this IRC business. I am generally bad at IRC because I want it to be MU* and it's not, and then I forget it's there because I'm paying attention to one of the other realtime conversations I'm having. But it can't work if I don't give it a chance.
