Honestly.
I've been stagnant in this awful hometown for a year.
And it's been exactly a year.
So I decided that it's time I pull my head out of my ass and concentrate on what I'd like to do for the rest (or at least the next part) of my life.
I'm fascinated by feminism. So I got a Women's Studies Bachelor of Arts degree at Dickinson College.

I agree : it's best to check everything thoroughly and make sure this is what I want and that I can actually do something with a degree from there.
I already e-mailed Coz to ask his opinion of the place (and to ask for a recommendation as well). So I hope he writes back in a timely fashion and helps me set things in motion. I'd call the Career Center, but they don't seem to be much help in anything.
I think I really just need some guidance in the application process and registering for classes and whatnot. I don't know how grad school works and, frankly, it scares the hell out of me because it's so foreign. It doesn't help that Dickinson's credit system was so easy (1 class = 1 credit despite difficulty level), making all other credit systems very difficult to understand.
And you're right. I have to make sure that I'm ready for the school commitment again. At Dickinson, I had a lot of support from faculty as well as students and events, so I'm going to have to be prepared to stand on my own, especially the whole way across the country.
