5 most irritating things at my work right now
1. Managers speaking on attention to detail and the quality of work, when to them acceptable is having another store come in and do a completely horrible job on our artificial wood flooring. Look at the long crevices between the boards, the nails that aren’t all the way in, or the corner that doesn’t even connect. I don’t want to hear one word about my laser lining or vacuum job if you find that acceptable, if I were the GM I would have said not in my house, fix it.
2. This concept that our department is supposed to be compared to three other stores in our district when in the past week during our “reconstruction” they have stolen mass quantities of media floor space, both in the warehouse as well as on the sales floor. It’s okay 127, sure the other stores will get to have their own register during seasonal like you used to, they will be able to have live-fun interactive stations like you used to, but I’m sure you can still make up the revenue for that right? “All you got to do is CONTACT, you don’t need surface area for product.” That was actually said by a corporate employee believe it or not. It’s okay. When seasonal comes people buy most out of media and it will hit the store hard when they realize the mistakes they are currently making.
3. I’m a sales manager, I get paid a lot and I’m smart. That’s why I sold 21 playstation 2s to one customer. Yeah thanks for screwing us D. It gave us revenue, despite we would have been able to sell those in two days. Now we have none because if you CARED to listen to our media employees you would have learned that they are on back order. There goes are PRP number, oh wait and our ACC number, oh yeah don’t forget the additional game attachments we could have given to the systems so there goes more REV, oh and don’t forget CS LOYALTY. Oh how I wanted to give every disappointed family that came in your name when they wanted to do a prp exchange bc of the horrible decision you made. That’s okay we got a tao from corp saying not to do it again.
4. Hey Robert keep an eye on this guy I think he’s stealing…Robert….robert are you there? Oh that’s right. They put a giant surround sound system right next to your face and your phone at the LP booth. How in the world can you function up there with it so loud? That was a smart move. Sigh I feel for you on that one.
5. It’s all about BBFB and GEEK SQUAD that is where the company is going to make its money that is what you need to start pushing customers towards. They are special. You are not, they get to carry cell phones, you can’t, they can, you can’t They get extra training, you guys get no training. HAH last time I thought we were customer centric, that involves all departments and focuses on the customer not two things we offer. We support this store too, why are you blowing us away. I talk with other people from other stores and their media department isn’t unappreciated like ours.
