OMG I FREAKIN LOVED CAREER DAY!!
lol savannah, I totally cracked up with the keynote speaker's presentation. But seriously everyone...career day taught me that you really have to follow your passion, and your dreams. I took:
1) Music production
2) Contemporary Musician
3) Politian
OMGOMGOMG I had soooooo much fun at the first two. I was dying!! People who know me well know that I am utterly in love with music. and the two speakers at the sessions..they were describing my DREAM JOBS. literally. the first guy is a famous music producer (michael lloyd) and he COMPOSES music and scores for movies, supervises music for movies, PICKS music for movies (when i say movies, I mean anything film-related, including TV), collaborates with artists, directs, manages, PERFORMS....sigh. It was a dream. I WANNA DO IT!! I love singing soo much. It eases my spirit and it fills my heart to the brim with joy. AND i love managing and producing and leading. AND i always write movie-music type songs. ahhhh!! then the second speaker was an independent recording artist (cindy alexander). she performed a song (piano and vocals) that she entirely composed herself. that is so rare among artists these days. and it was AMAZING! she totally inspired me to come home and write a song! of course I was at rehearsal till 7, i was itching and aching to get home. then when I did, I wrote a phrase or two (a melody of some sort) but I couldn't finish it. My friends want to hear it and I'm nervous! But when I finish I'll try to perform it if i'm not too embarrassed. ah!! ok in other news, this week is going to be SOOOOO HECTIC because of bye bye birdie!! but the show is gonna ROCK!!
