finding inspiration
Just an entry to empty my head-full of thoughts into. It's funny that when you get inspired to write something you just can't be bothered getting it down on paper. Well I'm trying to now. I have an over active imagination but I'm going to have to start compiling my thoughts and researching things if i'm going to be any kind of an author. Also will have to do a lot more study. I have been very slack lately. Just cruising at the moment and scared of anything too hard.
Even now I struggle to get this down but then this entry too is procrastination. It's me not writing my novel. I know this is all whining. I think sometimes you need to take a break and recoup but I think I've taken a bit too long between projects. I've bought myself a french for dummies set. I think I'll learn a little but I want to learn more than one language so I thought I'd start with something I'm a little familiar with and it's funny how things come back to you. It's also going to be hilarious to see me driving around and walking to work just repeating random words in french. It'd be even funnier if there was a french person walking down the street just hearing me saying random words and phrases in a bad accent. I cringe when I hear people just massacre Aussie accents. OMG! We all don't have the broad accent. I mean come on. Different places different ways of speaking even in the same language.
I'm going to go now. Looking up some Jane Austen adaptions as I've just bought a three in one dvd pack with Mansfield Park, Emma and Northhanger Abbey.
