A moment out of time....

........The corridor is filled with the unsettling feeling of eyes all around. The party continues heading down this dimly lit stone passageway heading for the door. The elf stops and listens carefully. The wooden door at the end starts emitting voices. The halfling and elf start sneaking down, every so quiet so not to alert their prescence. The halfing takes a peek through the keyhole...Two orcs sit at a poorly built table, half-passed-out. One is clutching an ale bottle in hand while the other is muttering incessantly about a wizard and slavery. Three, two, one......The elf kicks in the door! Halfling and elf both let loose an arrow in surprise! The small bolts veer toward their targets, one slamming into the chest, the other flying into the neck of another. The orc grabs his neck in surprise, trying to gurgle one last thought before he falls to the ground dead. The other is dead upon impact.

The party moves into the room. A small, dusty room filled with empty bottles and stale food. The walls are stone, much like their corridor counterpart. Small cots lie in a corner, rotting from overuse. The table from which the orcs were sitting is covered in ale bottles. A human from the party steps forward to survey the mess. Both the elf and human, thinking they are sooo great, decide to take drinks from the ale bottles......which later, they become sick....
