A tribute to Uchiha Itachi
Author’s Note: SPOILER ALERT! If you haven’t read the manga or not yet in the part of Sasuke and Itachi’s battle then turn back right now. This takes place a chapter after that so I suggest you guys check the manga out before reading this.
To those who have read it already, then gladly continue on. This is my tribute to Uchiha Itachi; a great shinobi and great brother.

The Unsung Hero
A tribute to Uchiha Itachi

He was the unsung hero; the invisible protagonist of the story.
Everyone thought that he was the invincible foe; the emotionless ass that killed all of his clan. They hated him; loathed him to his very core. But he didn’t care for any of that; he would gladly take it all in stride.
“It doesn’t matter” he said to himself a countless of time, so long as he reaches his goal. And so to the world, he was the emotionless rock and that was perfectly fine with him. “Just so that he will be loved.”
But there are nights that things become too unbearable even for him. Nights when the stars are all out and when the moon was shining so bright. It reminds him of the friends that thought that he was too far gone, the home that he didn’t have anymore and the family that wasn’t there to welcome him and cherish him.
No one would ever think that such a great ninja like him had the ability to show emotions, but during nights like this, he couldn’t help but to shed some tears. Tears that was for all the things that he had done and for all the things that has yet to be done. Melancholy strikes his heart and thoughts like giving up had often entertained him.
But these thoughts vanish every time the stars blink out of the sky one by one and by the time the first rays of the sun had shown, not a single trace of anguish could be seen on his face.
No one would know of his pain, no one would know of his burden. “It is not mine to share” he says and so continued to forge on ahead of his long weary road until such time that he would find the end.
Yes, he was the unsung hero and he would continue to protect his village and his last family even if it meant losing everything that was ever dear to him.
