my permenant residents card came today in the post. so now i can stay (for 2 years at least anyway when it expires and i must renew) but all i could think when looking at it was "why does my hair look so bad in the photo?". damn i'm shallow. actually the reason i wasn't jumping up and down was becuase i've always expected it to be approved and infact already knew it had been (see previous entry).
in other good news i got a raise in my job. $10 an hour extra, which is pretty fair and comes at a great time as raie just finished her job and started up at SanFrancisco State uni.
