... This possibly couldn't be who I think it is.

Well then, perhaps you could tell me who you think it is? Then I may be able to tell you if your suspicions are correct. After all, if you wish an answer, you must first ask a question~

... Sure seems like it.

Are you Albus Dumbledore?

[OOC: Mind Canon-Puncturing/ "Dumbles is fictional" pointing out? If not Relena could just bullshit she heard about him from a Wizard who liked breaking the Statue of Secrecy]

Aha! In that event, you are absolutely correct, young lady. May I have the pleasure of your acquaintance?

(( OOC: whoops, meant to put that in the entry! Yup, fourth-wall him as much as you like. ))

Relena Norstein.

And I have to say, it's been a while since the tree god did something like this that made so much sense.

[OOC: Awesome. I'll wait until it'd actually happen, but that's good to know]

A pleasure to meet you, Miss Norstein!

Ah, tree gods. I never was much interested in religion, I admit, but there are a number of quite fascinating myths regarding trees and gods ... some of them even have some basis in truth.

Do tell!

Well, Yggdrasil's the god of this world and we've kinda figured out that we're being sent here in order to protect this world and by extension every single one in the entire multiverse. Sadly, Yggdrasil also seems to bring people in randomly, which is why we have so many villains besides the ones native to this place running around.

Honestly, getting a leader of the light such as yourself is one step in the lucky direction. We could've easily had ended up with Voldemort running around killing everyone here.

I see. It seems this place is not so much a garden of paradise after all, eh, Fawkes?

I do recall a rather obscure text dedicated to the theory of multiple universes. The author became rather a laughingstock, admittedly ... I suppose the concept was a bit too wild even for many forward-thinking wizards. I must confess I didn't really put much thought to it, at the time; it was only supposed to be a light read, after all. I do believe I shall come to regret that.

*he's beaming now* Oh, you flatter me, young lady! Are you from my world, then?

Moon said only two.

Yes, she did, didn't she?

Usually, the theory is wild for many forward-thinking anything to consider outside of the bounds of fiction. Until you experience it firsthand, obviously.

... Actually, in my world you're a fictional character. Multiple worlds get kinda weird like that and it seems like it's probably true for every book/movie/game/whatever of fiction out there.

Then there's the cases where you end up meeting an alternate version of your older brother who's younger than you are and marrying someone you never even met while you sister-in-law is dating the older brother of your girlfriend back home. All while the version of your girlfriend that's here hates you.

...I thought you were over all that.

... I'm just giving an example.

True enough, true enough; they said similar things about self-cleaning cauldrons, after all.

Goodness gracious! So there are not only multiple, differing universes, there are alternate versions of the same one? That certainly must make things interesting! And to meet versions of people who are but stories within one's own world ...

...

... You wouldn't happen to know if there is a Babbitty Rabbitty here in the digital world, would you? That always was one of my favourites of Beedle's tales ...

You're taking this rather well. Then again, it should've been expected really. Haven't heard of a Babbitty Rabbitty though.

*cue eye-twinkling* My dear girl, I have lived long and already died; I hardly think much could surprise me after all that. A pity, really ... I'm rather fond of surprises.

Ah well, I suppose that was to be expected ... I always did rather admire Madam Rabbitty; it would have been a delight to meet her.

Yeah, that's a really good point.

Well, you never know. It's not like every person who comes into this world checks this thing after all.

I believe I shall find it interesting to speak to people from so many different worlds ... I may even recognise a few!

Now, as you've been so kind and helpful to me, I don't suppose you'd be willing to answer one more very important question?

wtf_relena_sexy October 31 2009, 05:12:09 UTC
Of course. What is it?

Would you happen to know where I might find some honey and tea? Or lemon drops, perhaps?
