Uh, ladies and gentleman....
Tonight I went and saw a terrific, absolutely wonderful movie. It is one you all must see. 'In Good Company', starring Topher Grace, the 70s show guy. It was an absolute joy to watch. Scarlett Johansson is terrific, Dennis Quaid is terrific, and even the guy who calls himself Topher is terrific. It had a very happy ending, it was very funny, and all the right things happened at all the right times. So, I recommend you all go and see it. I guarantee a fun time. The whole theme of uncertainty and directional ambivalence definitely hit home with me - I have such a situation today.
Also, the trip to Washington has been largely planned. We will be heading down on Wednesday morning at 1030 - and we are staying over night at Carlyle hotel - which is "DC's Art Deco hotel. Whatever that means. It looks very pretty, from what I can tell, though there are apparently parking problems. also, there seems to be snow headed toward DC. I dont know if that means a huge storm, but either way, its a problem for getting there and back.
But, weve got the tickets, the reservation, and with any luck, this will be a good experience, without too much horror involved. We have planned things out pretty well, so I can only hope that the hardest part is getting there.
