...Why is it that I remember something about that jerk right after he leaves?

Are you honestly surprised that things turned out that way?

What do you mean?

About you remembering something in regards to Asch (I presume he's the "jerk" in question) only after he disappeared. Don't things usually happen in ironic ways around here?

Well, nothing like this. At least, I don't remember something like this happening to me before.

It may be that I've been reading too much into the island's doings, then.

Would you mind clarifying what it is that you've remembered?

I...well, we were in Chesedonia, and I got hit by a really bad headache. And I...I heard Asch's voice in my head. He was telling us he was at the Zao Ruins. And that Ion was with him.

"We" again... Can you remember suffering from severe migraines before, or do you feel like this was a unique case?

[It goes without saying that she offers no theories as to why Luke was hearing Asch's voice in his head.]

It's entirely possible that Fon Master Ion was with Asch during that time. They are both members of the same organization, though I would assume their roles within that organization are completely different.

That wasn't the first time. I used to get them a lot. That was the first time I heard his voice in my head, though.

Yeah, but the last thing I remembered before this was the God-Generals kidnapping the Fon Master.

[Ponder.]

That's strange. I can't imagine why the God-Generals would go to great lengths to kidnap the Fon Master. They could have easily submitted a request for an audience with him...

Unless they needed his assistance for something they didn't think would be granted approval by other members of the Order.

Could this be Van's doing? Or perhaps Grand Maestro Mohs really is trying to start a war...

Well, when we got there, we ended up fighting two of the God-Generals at once. And neither was Asch.

I see... In that case it may have been a trap...

It's probably safe to assume that our own goals clash with those of the God-Generals, or else they wouldn't have fought us.

[On the contrary, this doesn't really answer any of her questions.]

Do you have any idea of their intent? What I mean is: did it seem like they were fighting seriously or merely trying to stall?

I don't know. I don't know how strong they are. But I don't think they needed Ion for much else.

"Much else". Yet still they needed him for something.

And these headaches. You haven't experienced them since you've been here. Is that right...?

...Actually, now that you mention it, no I haven't.

I see.
Let me know if your condition does happen to change.
