And the ice scraper saga continues...
So, as promised, yesterday I went out to get an ice scraper.
So did the rest of Baltimore apparently, and they got to them first.
I thought I was going to make a quick trip to the Kmart for the scraper and then Safeway for some groceries. Kmart was out of them. Safeway I'd hoped might have one, because grocery stores generally have a nice little hodgepodge of overpriced non-grocery items. But no.
So from there I went to Home Depot. Strike three.
Seriously considered calling it quits at that point, as I had other things I needed to be doing rather than running all over town on a wild ice scraper chase. But the thought of cleaning off the car with bare gloved hands again kept me going.
Headed out towards the Walmart in White Marsh. There's one closer right up the road on Putty Hill, but that parking lot is madness in normal weather, I really didn't want to see it with all the slush.
White Marsh Walmart was out. So was the Target there.
For a last ditch effort, I went into the BP there, remembering it as having a variety of things when I've been in before. Score! They had a whole little section of winter car care stuff.
I didn't even complain that the scraper was black and not purple like my lost one. :)
