10 New Year's Resolutions

  1. Work on eliminating our debt

    1. Get a better budget created with Thoughtwire

    2. Do a better job budgeting for Christmas, car repairs, the auto-related taxes, and other infrequently occurring, but expect-able, expenses.


  2. Get into an evening routine

    1. Eat a family dinner with Kenny and TW at least 5 nights a week (incl. weekends).

    2. Get stuff done around the house after work, now that K's not so needy in the evenings.


  3. Spend my not-work-time with more purpose/planning

    1. Have family (fun) time at least once a week (park/mall/etc)

    2. Have a 'date night' with TW at least once a month

    3. Make (for us) or have (with family/friends) Sunday dinner (lunch) every week

    4. Set specific times for housework and stick to working during those times


  4. Communicate better with others

    1. Sit down with TW to talk about important stuff (house/baby/etc) at least once a week.

    2. Read to K every night, in addition to before bed storytime

    3. Spend more time talking with K.

    4. Send out mass-mailing I've been planning and Send out the 2010 xmas cards on time


  5. Be more social

    1. Get closer to meeting our 'visit with each of the grandparents once a month' goal

    2. Find out-of-house things do with Kenny at least once a week.

    3. Make plans to visit with friends at least once a month


  6. Be healthier

    1. Keep my weight down where it is now

    2. Eat more consistently (quality, frequency, and quantity of food)


  7. Get into a better Morning Routine

    1. On time to work

    2. Go to bed at a reasonable time (unlike tonight)


  8. Make and meet better work goals

    1. Better organization and tracking of tasks

    2. Get specified deadlines for tasks


  9. Find a new Psychiatrist

    • ADHD/depression medication management and counseling


  10. Finish around-the-house projects

    1. Especially things like taking care of old boxes of 'important papers'

    2. Help TW when he needs, and I can...
