Law & Order is MY show, so...

With the discovery of a DS emulator I've been pulled into the heroin-level-addiction of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I've just gone without sleep because I'm so involved in proving myself innocent of murdering my senior-partner, Ms. Fey. I'm up against a corrupt man who has made his vast fortune off of blackmail and the selling of information to the highest bidder.

This game makes me regret scoffing at the DS as a kid-specific system; it's darker than I imagined, but still packed with enough humor to keep you lapping it up. Adventure games are hard to come by, what with it no longer being the early '90s, and most in the genre have given up enthralling stories for cheap, cheap laughs and shiny graphics. I won't be the first to say that PW: AA is a prime example of how a game of its kind should be. Graphics be damned -though they're not bad by any means-, finding lies in cross-examinations and collecting evidence that can be easily rendered useless by careless decisions in interrogation...Fantastic! It's a challenge that, if solved, is incredibly satisfying. I'm hooked.

No$gba. That's the name of the emulator. Join me.
