I don't even know where to begin talking about how amazing this is. Your flawless characterization, your rich details, your amazing worldbuilding, your beautiful imagery, your mythical tone. I mean, every time I feel like I've kind of settled in to the flow of this fic and where it's going, you throw in ten thousand new elements to mix it up again, and I love it.

thank you thank you thank you! that is such a huge compliment! in all honesty, i keep throwing in new things because as much as i'd like to think i have a legit plan, in reality i just keep coming up with crazy shit on the fly - so please let me know if it starts veering into freaky territory, i would absolutely welcome any criticism on flow, pacing, anything.

right there with you. i'm trying to give silmil a more "real" feel with dialogue and such...but at the same time keep that fantastical otherworldly feel, i hope i can keep it consistent :)

this! my feeling on his magic (haven't quite figured if this applies to the others yet) is that especially for a child unable to control it, it's something of a double-edged sword. can you imagine your nightmares actually coming to life as a kid x_x;

Oh. Oh man. So that fic about Zoisite as the executioner is in this verse. Yeah. So this isn't going to be happy at all, is it.
