Where do I even begin? This is such a gorgeous story, omg. I mean, I'm biased because my favorite senshi/shitennou pairing is Rei/Jadeite but I love everything about this. I love the idea of Rei being curious, Jadeite trying to please her with his illusions(which is an amazing idea that never entered my head but now, it's not going anywhere!),and the whole thing backfiring SPECTACULARLY. And the sex scene, SCORCHING!!! And I love all the little details of life in Crystal Tokyo, the King and Queen getting "sick" and having to do paper work. It made it so tangible that I forgot that this isn't a real world. I loved that Crystal Tokyo still has problems, it's not a completely perfect utopia, shit's still happening and they're all doing stuff to keep the world a better place. MALIK IL-AYBAD! APHRODITE, ORACLE! Okay, I need to stop because I'm just going to spit everything you wrote back at you. I just...man this was such a good read. Thank you for posting it, it's now officially one of my favorite senshi/shitennou stories. CONSIDER THIS BAD BOY MEMORY'D! :D
ack, i am so flattered! thank you! it was sort of weird writing crystal tokyo because there's always this impulse to keep things just like they are in the present, since we don't have any sense of how much technology and/or magic have advanced, know what i mean? so it was hard to resist the temptation to just be vague and not mention anything that would be ridiculously outdated by then.........like, i don't know, movies or microwaves or something, haha. but YAY so happy to be memory'd and glad you enjoyed it!!!
