(no subject)
Well, it looks like I'm going to steal another link from Lindey after all. Go for it guys - "describe" me with easy-to-use Java buttons!

In an interesting side note, when I brought up this page to paste that link, LiveJournal actually restored one of my old entries from something like 2 or 3 months ago! Once or twice I've written an entry, only to "get out my angst" and never actually post it. I guess I'm scared to go back and see my former lack of wisdom up close and personal. But, it's late, and I'm taking it as a sign that this entry managed to survive all that time in hibernation. So, for the curious, my 3 month old musings:
"Wow.
I can hardly believe that I am actually sitting here, finding myself writing on LiveJournal. Never thought I'd actually do it. Maybe it's late, maybe I'm just sentimental, but for whatever reason, here I sit.
I just finished looking over some old pictures of high school. Man, those times were great. I wonder, did we realize it then? Do we realize it now? Or are we destined to always go back and look at old pictures before we realize what a great time we were having. Things always seem simpler when you look back. It's an illusion, of course. If we could talk to the past versions of ourselves, I'm sure they'd tell us just how complicated the situation was for them, given their current knowledge and life experience.
*laughs*
I suppose that sounded more down than it was intended. Truth is, I think it is unimaginably important to make sure that sort of thing -doesn't- happen."
...and that's as far as I got! Hmm, I'm actually pretty proud of that musing...go figure. For now, I'll see most of you in about a week and a half, I love all of you, and click on that link!
