Changes
The last time I posted here was a very long time ago, and having found a new friend on LJ, I'm posting something more present than September 2006 in the event that that new friend takes an interest in my thoughts. So, here goes:
I've changed a lot since my last few entries. LIES! A lot of things have happened in my life, and I've learned from them, since my last few entries. I could retrace the journey, but that wouldn't bring you any closer to knowing me, nor would it bring me any closer to being content with life. I feel I may be well on my way, though I AM currently wasting time on LJ instead of continuing my job hunt. I'm going to bullet all the things that happened to me (well, that I can remember), and see how it looks written/typed out.
*I realized who my friends are and arent and what I need in friends (which is sort of where I was in my last post).
*A good friend moved in with me, though it took me almost ten years to realize what a good friend she is.
*I've become more comfortable with myself, accepting me as me, and not trying to change myself to fit everyone's needs (part of growing up, I know, but I'm compelled to observe myself learning and growing.
*I traveled to Long Beach, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Grand Canyon, Disneyland, San Diego (and fell in love with the city), Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Hollywood.
*I realized that my marriage was only going to destroy the relationship we had, so we agreed to separate. It's not a trial separation. I'm 3000 miles away. There's nothing trial about that (though it can be very try-ING).
*I moved to San Diego.
Of course, I did more than that, but those are the big moments jumping out at me right now.
