dream
(just a dream I want to get down before forgetting because....it involved Bruce Campbell :/ )
-going to some event w/Joe, apparently Bruce Campbell is there as a speaker. Joe is wearing a leather jacket with some kind of blue shirt. We see Bruce is wearing something almost exactly the same.
-Going up to the bar (b/c there is one apparently), we manage to stand next to Bruce as he enters at the same time. Joe and I figure the similar clothes are a funny conversation stater (oh yeah, sure), and stand there awkwardly for Bruce to notice. But he's sort of busy, so I wander off.
-Going to the seating, I find Jackie! Who's also trying to find a place to sit. We get a few chairs in the front row and sit down.
-But then I see Joe talking to Bruce in the distance! So I casually get up and walk over to Joe, pretending to be all cool and not notice Bruce right away. But obviously I do--and Bruce says 'hi' when I walk up and I say "hiya"
-Bruce, jokingly: "What, is that all the reaction I'm going to get?" Me: "Trust me, you wouldn't want to see my real reaction."
-There is some exchange and then Bruce gives me a hug (! gah). I let it last for a teensy bit too long I think but oh well.
-Bruce then asks me how many times I've been to Target--like, specifically. I guess '8'? He says he's got some special deals there for his fans. (Uh, huh...kay)
-Then it's time for the event to start, so Joe and I go back to our seats to find some young girls have taken them! (Jackie let them b/c they were reading and seemed like intellectuals--though by later in the dream, it turns out they're rather bratty).
