I have no idea why i feel compelled to do this.
A girl that julie, rachel and i went to high school with is dead.
Shes just dead. I dont know why im freaking out so much about it but i am.
Shes never going to turn 18. Or start college. Or get married. Or have babies. Or get old and die.
Dead.
I wonder how i would react if i woke up tomorrow and one of the people i care about was dead. Just gone. Like that.
What if it was me.
Dead.
Teen hit by car on Hwy. 101 dies
The girl, 17, was a recent graduate of Newbury Park High

A 17-year-old girl who graduated from Newbury Park High School in June was killed early Sunday morning when she walked onto Highway 101 and was struck by a car, authorities reported.
Craig Stevens, a Ventura County deputy medical examiner, said Victoria Marie Nugent was in the southbound lane when she was hit.
"She was facing away from traffic and she appears to have been killed instantly," he said.
The accident happened shortly after 3 a.m. south of Wendy Drive, the California Highway Patrol said. Victoria was struck by a car driven by Lloyd Dean Davis, 43, of Van Nuys.
Davis was unable to see the girl in the roadway because it was dark, officials said.
Davis, who was driving about 65 to 70 mph, was not cited.
Stevens said Nugent was declared dead at 3:20 a.m. at the scene, and it took almost 12 hours to identify the girl, whose body was found unclothed.
"We didn't have anything to tell us who she was," he said. "There were no fingerprints on file and she had no arrest records. Basically, we were down to waiting for the family to file a missing person's report."
That happened Sunday afternoon, he said. Nugent's parents filed a report with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, which was aware the Highway 101 accident victim had not been identified.
Deputies informed the Medical Examiner's Office that the girl reported missing lived near the scene of the accident. A high school graduation photo confirmed Nugent's identity.
The cause of Nugent's death was major blunt force trauma, Stevens said. Toxicology tests will be conducted, but results will not be known for several months.
A portion of southbound 101 was closed for about 90 minutes after the accident, the CHP said.
