House, Castle, Criminal Minds and Law & Order:SVU
I'm putting my ramblings on the above shows below a cut...
OMFGHOUSEWASAWESOME!!! Yes, that needed to run together, be in all caps and have three exclamation marks. I can't wait to see where their relationship goes. Whether it's functionally dysfunctional or it all falls apart, I think it'll be a fascinating thing to watch unfold.
Castle was good. I did not have the same reaction to it as I did to House. I kind of felt like they cleaned things up a bit too nicely in the first episode after what happened at the end of last season. I thought there should be a little more...emotional turmoil? I guess. It is meant to be more of light hearted show but I just didn't think things would fall back into place so quickly. It was still enjoyable though.
Criminal Minds was...kind of bittersweet to me. JJ gets this big moment and I know the next episode will be her last. It makes me sad. Then I see the promo for the next ep and I'm not sure if I'm going to like how they write her off. I feel like she deserved to go out with a bang not a whimper and it doesn't look like we're getting that. However, Tim Curry was fantastic in the episode. He does evil so well.
Law & Order: SVU was...bleh. I just didn't feel any kind of excitement for this episode and everything just fell kind of flat. Maybe it's just me? My interest in it might be dying. I am more partial to the characters than I am the show itself and since I know the show will never take me where I want it to go, I think I'm giving up on it. There is always fanfiction ;)
