Person of Interest Drabbles and personal update
For what it's worth, considering the sound of crickets most of my posts have been getting here lately, I have collected my POI drabbles together and posted them on AO3. Not many yet, only three and one is actually a three sentence fic but I put it there anyway. Somewhere, maybe just on the POI fic community, I have a drabble from Carter's pov and when I find it, I will add it too, but the ones there now are all Reese's pov.

Is it just because most of my f-list isn't into POI that I haven't been getting any comments lately? It was so great when I was doing the Thirty Days of Blogging and got a lot of comments back but lately... nada. Maybe I'm losing my touch or something or everybody's busy.
In other news, don't think I've posted about my roof leak causing the ceiling of my spare room to fall in right before Comic Con. It's still a mess up there, and rather drafty but my son and a friend did manage to put a tarp on the roof so that's a temporary fix. You have no idea how it sounds when ceilings fall in -- like you'd imagine dead bodies dropping might sound. I was supposed to be sewing up there that day, finishing my costume for Comic Con, but when a bit fell Thursday morning, I got my sewing machine out along with my other supplies and luckily didn't getting konked on the head.
Last night, part of a tooth fell out of my mouth while I was chewing. Lovely. A hunk of filling had fallen out of the tooth a little while ago and yes, I didn't do anything about it, due to my fear of dentists. So today, I managed to get an appointment for next week to get it looked at. There are lovely rough spots up there and it's hard to chew. Fun. I hate dentists, had a mean one as a kid and novocaine doesn't work on me. I'm so looking forward to the appointment.
I got a letter from the city district court today -- I forgot jury duty last month. Fun. At least they said that "I forgot" was the most common reason given. They let me pick another day so in January I need to remember to call in to find out if I have to show up. This was right after the ceiling thing so I guess my forgetting wasn't so terrible and there is my ADD issue. I've been trying to do better though. I need to get out my iPad calendar and get these things on it.
