Here's to mold...

Oh, how the planets align... where do I begin....  I keep forgetting to update, and now, too much has happened.

Katie, Sunni, Stephanie, my aunt (Laura) and I went to On Broadway on Sunday, July 3rd.  Jon's DJing was amazing.  I was so impressed.  We girls had way too much fun, ie. too many drinks.  I'm seriously surprised that we all made it home in one piece.

Katie, Jessica and I went to Moondoggies on Thursday.  My friend Vu (yes, his name is Vu) is a bad influence, too many drinks and a little bit of Taco Motion and Katie's in trouble, "I've got cheese in my eyeball!"  We then had to wake up at 6:30am to take my aunt to the airport.  On our drive down, Katie and I relay to my aunt the stories from the night before.  And somehow come to the conclusion, "April's ass is a little bit something NOT caucasian."

So since we are on a roll... we decide to go to On Broadway on Saturday night to see Vu DJing.  (I don't know, he grows on you like mold!)  Again, with Vu's influence, we end up driving from Downtown to Santana's in Mission Beach, back to downtown, then home to Del Mar.   Thank god I was driving because if it was up to Vu we would have ended up in "Messico".  And by the way, Mexico is spelled with an 'x' not an 's'!  Anyways, up til 5am is not good for a girl's health.  So instead of sleeping the whole day away (again, why didn't we do that?) Katie and I go to the beach, the pool, and the mall.  As we are walking through the UTC mall, recalling our evening, I laugh and say, "Remember when Vu was dancing against the wall like this?"  Crazy lady sitting on a bench says, "Yeah, they all do it, don't you hate it when they don't tell you.  Dancing is fun."  AH WHAT!??  We then go to buy me some sunglasses at Sun Diego, and somehow, we end up with four of the guy employees helping us.  WHAT!?  It's okay though, because the number of employees in that store out numbers the amount of customers by far, so really it wasn't a big deal!

And... last night I went to Taste of Downtown with Jon and his family.  So much fun, they offer 50 restaurants to try food at, we made it through 14 and were stuffed.  Good times.

So this weekend, I don't care what you say, I'm not going out... you should see the piles of laundry!  You can't make me!

Ps.  Here's to breaking beds!
