We stopped at midnight to watch tv. After waiting quite a while, we got a glimpse of Dick, and I gave my semi-traditional New Year's kiss to Anderson Cooper, although he ducked it the first time.
2007 was the year of "self-satisfaction before self-sacrifice", and that philosophy did me quite well. I've yet to figure out what 2008 will be, though perhaps some moderation is in order. *grin*
