I very rarely get around to memeage I've been tagged for, but scapersuse tagged me, and I had a book handy.
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next three sentences in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.

"The Experimental Station. It's like Rothamsted. Did you ever go to Rothamsted when you were in England?"
This is from "The Island", by Aldous Huxley. I picked it up at a used bookstore last year in Arizona, because I needed something to read and it was Huxley. I was so bored I never finished it. It was near my computer because someone from Germany has just mooched it from me on BookMooch.

(as for my mood... since I got my West Wing back, I've been slowly doing a marathon. I just finished the second season ep, "Noel", where Josh is diagnosed with PTSD. Impossible to watch that without feeling like you've been run over by a truck. Recommended treatment? More West Wing.)
