don't know exactly when it happened, or what occurance created this new thing in me, but i have offiically become one of 'those' girls.. the ones who love shoes, buy them, wear them, and actually have fun with shoes...i think that it may have had something to do with a pair of 3.95 flats from old navy.. they're birght green swirls surrounded by a light cream color, totally funky, but yet, totally sixties... i love them, and i wear them with anything.. usually with blue jeans and a plain shirt because i want my shoes to be my statement for the look... i bought a new pair yesterday, and all yesterday afternoon, and so many times today, my mind has been going back to those lovely shoes sitting in the box, waiting for an evening to go out, and trying to figure out what exactly i want to wear with them on their debut evening...
*sigh* i do believe that this means i've had way to much time on my hands lately, and that maybe, just maybe this is one of the reasons i look forward to school starting back so badly =) but aside from that, i hope that everyone knows how to appreciate a great pair of shoes... cause if you're gonna try to walk a mile in mine, you know they're gonna be darn cute
