Oh the day began fabulously... Went to the swap meet with my husband Nick. After 2 hours of skimming, searching, and pilaging, I found a beautiful Jade neckalce (which my huband now refers to as my Marge Simpson beads) and was somehow able to haggle the Japanese sales lady down from 25-15-13-10, ten dollars! Oh it felt good. Also at this particular excursion, I picked up a cutie patootie pair of knockoff sunglass, a steal at 4 bucks!
After the swap meet at Aloha Stadium, we returned home to shower, and then went back out. Sushi (less than Par) for lunch while looking enviously at Nick's Subway Sandwich.
Went to Ala Moana mall next to try and get my driver's liscence, no luck as the city hall branch there does apparently everything but issue the damn thing I need. Have to do it on monday I suppose. Since being at the mall and resisting the urge to shop is futile, I gave in and began to browse (all to the utter dismay of my hubby). Gucci, Cartier, Prada, they all are such brats. I hate going in the stores when the Sales Clerks look at you with that "we know you don't belong in here" look. Piss on 'em. Anyway, we wound up in Sephora where I got the DuWop Lip Venom and Stila's Natalie Lip Stick. The day was looking promising until we entered the parking lot.
Ala Moana parking deck is somewhat of a labrynth and enormous thorn in any driver's side. People are constantly whipping out of nowhere, honking, backing up, etc...this culminates in a minor fender bender, and my husband being quite obscene...lol. Long story short, an extreme breed of pothead bumped our rear. Nick was not happy at this point so we went to his happy place, Comp USA. He got his nerd fix on and we were on out merry way.
Listed some things on Ebay, probably going to play poker tonight, update later!
