Planning the end

It seems to me that April ending up in Calgary strongly implies she goes the Manitoba/Saskatchewan route. In which case, we probably should say that April will be spending her last year of high school in Manitoba--with Saskatchewan's quota system, that's pretty much the only way that can work. I guess Guelph was a red herring--just because they "accepted" fictional-character April Patterson doesn't mean Lynn envisions her going there.
Since April ends up with a country boy, I guess we will have to specify that Jeremy stays behind. At least she doesn't come back to Milborough and marry Gerald.
I'm glad that the strip o' destiny only says she has the "opportunity" to work with the Calgary Stampede. As a vegan, no way would my April accept a job with them. She might join in with whoever is protesting their abuse of animals, though!
