The meta note ending comment makes me think we are not talking about the coming week, but the week after which Lynn has already said in interview is a Sunday strip detailing the future of the Pattersons and that April will be going to the University of Guelph.
You could be right. I thought of that right after I posted.
Here's an idea I had while in the shower (I might need therapy!). The day of April's "Grandpa Jim" premonition, she gets a call from Iris. She and Jeremy are asked to come over immediately. When they do, they find that Jim can speak clearly for the first time since before his original stroke. He tells April that he knows his reprieve from aphasia is only temporary, hence his hurry to get her to him. He's had a premonition of his own, and it involves his own death. He orders April not to intervene and explains why he wants that.
OTOH, if the "Grandpa Jim goes down" thing doesn't occur in the strip until the 25th (I'd thought the spoiler was for the 18th), April would no longer be having premonitions. It would be something she did not foresee. Anything that happens in the strip after the 23rd, and meant to occur on the wedding day, is reported after the fact in ARB time. (Is that confusing enough yet? ;) )
BTW, my husband, son, and I are going to a potluck dinner and I'm not sure what time we'll get home. Anything you'd like to throw out there for Jeremy and April to do this evening, I'll have to catch up on tonight or tomorrow. :)
