Here are a few ideas:
April isn't only a bridesmaid, she may be asked to pull usher duty and help seat people in their assigned seats, if there is such a thing at wedding ceremonies. I know there is at receptions after the wedding. Anyhoo, she could greet each guest when they come to the church or wherever the wedding is taking place, and the guests could tell her what they plan to do during or after the wedding, and at the reception.
The other idea that would be similar is to do so at the reception. We already know Mike plans to give a speech and April plans to sing. She could either be greeting guests at the reception hall, asking them to sign the guest registry, and chat them up a bit while escorting them to their assigned table for the dinner.
Either way, she could keep a tape recorder hidden under her bra, one of those digital recorders that can record up to 12 or 16 hours' worth of recording.
Another way I just thought of is to have Jeremy somehow "hack" the sound system in the church or reception hall, making it able to record everyone's conversations during the wedding ceremony (some will be whispering, have him install very sensitive microphones, the kind that a lot of recording studios use that can even record nearly-inaudible sounds) or the reception, and he can either burn it to CD, or else send it to her via e-mail as mp3 files. She could listen to it, then gather all the details from it and post to her blog.

Those are all great ideas for how April will know everything that's happening during the wedding day, patrickrsghost. What I haven't figured out to my satisfaction is how April will know 1-2 weeks in advance everything that happens on the wedding day. Since I expect "August 23" in strip time will unfold August 9-30 in our time.

What if Liz and Anthony held a small, private ceremony for immediate family only (John and Elly, Anthony's parents, Mike and Dee, April, the chi'drens, and a couple of bridesmaids and groomsmen that are close to the family like Lawrence, Gordon, Shawna-Marie, and Candace), and then on the actual date, they did the bigger ceremony, where everybody who's somebody attends? Pretty much the same prayers will be said, the same vows made, and all the usual gang of suspects (those I mentioned before) will attend. The only difference is there will be a whole cast of thousands in attendance. The "cast of thousands" comment comes from "The Bozo Show", since the wedding may turn into a circus before too long.
Perhaps have the reception prior to the wedding, so that April will know what everyone will think or say during the big ceremony, the one they will think is the real one. The first one will be held in secret, by order of the Johnston Institute, and anyone caught blabbing about how the big ceremony is really the second one, will face immediate erasure or reprogramming. THERE NEVER WAS A FIRST WEDDING. THE BIG ONE IS THE ONLY ONE.
