Thanks, howtheduck! I actually wasn't sure where I was going with the imposter, either. When I had April post about the hug, the one from Shannon saying they'd never had a chance to hug had not yet displayed on my browser. I posted, refreshed, and sort of went "Ruh-roh! Do I delete, or. . . .?" :)
Mike's self-adoring post--LOVE! :)aprilp_katjeDecember 23 2006, 14:00:33 UTC
howtheduck--a tour-de-force of Michael self-indulgence! This whole thing was hysterical and brilliant, but for some reason this bit jumped out to make me LOL:
I know you are thinking I probably should have only picked up the laptop and left the manuscript, but I had printed the manuscript on really nice paper and I had used the “Best Quality” setting on the printer and everything, so it would have been a shame to let it burn. ;)

aprilp_katje,
I am glad you liked it. That line in particular is taken from my wife who has an office at home and complains bitterly every time I accidentally print something off on her good paper and forget to set the Printing properties to Draft. I give credit to her indirectly.
Thanks. Your excellent Anthony post seemed headed in that direction, so it made sense that Liz would be on the same page. After all, theirs is the romance of few, spoken words and many thought balloons.

I wondered where you were going with the Shannon imposter. I didn't expect Stephanie Haskins though. Very funny.

Your Zandra Larson Ottawa airport Blog was pretty darn funny. I liked:
The "Please forgive me" leading into the arrival of Uncle Arne.
Wilco the rabbit unable to find someone to play euchre with him.
Arne’s advice to Zandra to date Jeremy Jones, because of tangible assets.
