Real Women Have Curves
I don't understand why this phrase has caught on especially with fat girls. My sister wears a size 6 and she's real. I wear a 16 and I'm real too. It bugs me. I'm not saying there isn't an issue with designers not offering the best of clothes for larger women. I'm also not dismissing the fact that theres an issue with presenting the image of the average woman. I do disagree that the entertainment industry has a responsibility to do so. Regardless I must call up my sister and tell her she's a figment of my imagination.
