And Happy St. David's Day, gothams3rdrobin! (I was just talking about St. David's Day at my book club meeting - we were talking about immigrants and family traditions - and when they asked me what we did to celebrate, I had to admit "not much." At least not much in Buffalo when I was growing up. All I remember was going to a church service downtown and then having sandwiches and tea.)
I now have finally joined the 21st century and got a new LED HDTV/DVD combo! It's a 24" Toshiba, about the same size across as my old TV, but unlike the old one, most of that is screen, so it seems huge to me by comparision. I'm still marveling at how much better the picture looks compared to the old set. :)
