Shut it Kageyama. Just shut it.

Still recovering from my cold, I drag myself to work today with a "sexy" husky voice and taught 4 classes. The highlight has to be the last class with the 6th graders. Let's see, first some of the boys did a dance with their middle fingers and thumb down signs (in Japan, this is equivalent to middle finger).

Then I split them into groups of 3 to play a memory game. One group, decided to do things slightly different midway through: they flipped over 3 cards at a time and reshuffle the cards after every turn. One of the girl and boy really got into it, and starting throwing 「謎解きはディナーのあとで」 insults at each other. Finally there were only 4 cards left. The two took turns flipping over 2 cards at a time. After several tries, the girl got a match. But when they counted up the number of pairs, the boy came out as a winner. With this victory the boy said 「失礼します、お嬢様はあほでございますか?」 (Pardon my rudeness, but are you an idiot milady?). The boy might had got the last line, but I got the last laugh.

This is why I wake on Monday mornings. And this is why I love my job. Honestly the smallest things from the kids can make me laugh.

Ah and the teachers. Can't forget the teachers! They're all wonderful in their own way. And everyday I continue to learn from them and the kids.
