Safe and Sound
Hi, this is just a brief post to let you know I'm safe and sound. I'm far from where the earthquake happened, and I'll surrounded by mountains (or should I say, I live in the mountains) so I'm also safe from tsunami.
The teachers turned on the TV shortly after the first wave of tsunami. And I've also left the TV on all evening, though I only understand some of what's going on. I have skyped my family back home, but apparently not fast enough because was still angry when we first spoke.
Seeing the actual footage of the tsunami sweeping everything away, that was deviating.
