rocking it with stage presence
I saw the "new" H!P subgroup performance clips from the summer concert floating around. While I didn't watch all of them, the Zoku v-u-den performance really caught my attention.
Zoku v-u-den, consists of Sayumi Michishige(Morning Musume), Risako Sugaya (Berryz Koubou) and JunJun (Morning Musume). Much like the original v-u-den members, these three are not the strongest singers in H!P. But this performance worked and super enjoyable because they know how to work up the crowd. This is always one of the reason why I go all out to watch these concert performance: these girls really know how to make a show enjoyable. Which is definitely something I did not find at the recent Britney concert.
Well, if these clips were out it should be the concert DVD had been released. And sure enough, it was. I didn't watch the whole concert yet but I did watch the first few songs, bit of the middle and some of the ending. Liking Guru Guru Jump the more I watch these concert performance. Though I am still probably going to avoid putting that album track in my mp3... But if there was a concert rip version, now that will be a different story!
When I say I watch the middle part, naturally I mean I scan through the MoMusume part. The girls were in their Nanchatte Renai outfit, promoting the single. But I wasn't able to concert on the performance because of Ai's choice of earrings:
Mickey Mouse. She wore Mickey Mouse earrings while singing Nachatte Renai and Shouganai Yume Oibito. Yes the colour matches the outfit... but Mickey Mosue, really?!? It does not match either song at all!
I like how Gaki-san did her hair here. She was really pushing the emotion of the song out during her solos. But when she wasn't singing her solo lines...
