beggar can’t be chooser, employee

Another shopping day. I purposely skipped this morning’s cough syrup medication; don’t want to shop in a drowsy state! This time I went over sea to Mok Kwok by myself. Didn’t get a chance to go to all the places that I like, but did managed to buy some stuff. Actually, I had to stop myself from buying another more stuff because the bags were getting heavy.
While I was looking around in a store, someone came in asking if they were hiring.

girl: Are you guys hiring?
sales clerk: Yes yes. Are you looking for full time or part time?
girl: What’s the hours for full time?
sales clerk: 12:30pm - 11:30pm
girl: …
sales clerk: Sometimes we close earlier than 11:30.
girl: What about part time?
sales clerk: We’re not hiring part time.
girl: Is it possible to get off work earlier? Like 10:30? Cause I don’t live nearby.
sales clerk: When you’re looking for a job it’s not for you to say what time you get off, it’s up to the boss.

I understand the girl’s concern about leaving earlier so she can get home through a public transportation, but the sales clerk is right: beggar can’t be choosers.

I stop by a capsule machine "store" and wonder around for awhile. I found a machine that were selling keychain that went with Japan Disney Mobile's latest phones (DM003SH):

Super pretty... and though I wanted the Stitch one I was really okay with whichever one I get. It cost $15 HKD (whereas normal one usually cost $10 HKD). Which roughly equals to less than $3 CDN. I ended up getting Stitch, what luck eh? And it turns out the $15 was well worth it as each capsule came with a shiny keychain and non-shiny one (as a set). I thought each capsule only came with one!

As per usual, visited grandma in the evening. When we were heading out the door, we saw a neighbour that wanted to tag along. According to dad, this lady watched dad grow up so needles to say she’s pretty old. She showed us a new bus route that got us to the hospital very quickly.

They have removed all sort of hook up medication, but the air supply is still attached just in case she needs it. We stay for nearly the entire visiting hour, but most of the time we were just there staring into space.

My evening involved some very dirty business: I had to look past the dusts under a desk (with a flashlight) and try to find a lost safety box key. No luck.
