It's news after news, after news, after news, after news!
The 3 back to back midterms are finally over, what a relief! This last midterm was easy, a bit too easy that I'm a little scare. I had bad experience with easy exams: I think the exam is easy, then when I get the result back it's a whole different story... On top of that, this course is scale. So if everyone in the class found the exam easy as well... it means I'll have to get near a perfect to get a decent mark =/
With all that school stuff aside, it's time to catch up on some j-pop news. First: Leah Dizon is marry and 4 months pregnant. I don't know her that well, non have I really listen to her work. This story grab my attention is because of how she inform the media: she announced on the last day of her tour, at the end of the concert. She'll be taking some time off and I wish her and new family well.
Secondly, there are talks (more like rumors) that Hangry & Angry is also looking at a US "mini" debut. Which I assume mean they're planning to release the mini album in the US as well. Well if it's true, this will be very interesting. I like to see how the US's take is on this.
Speaking of US debut, BoA's US debut single 「Eat You Up」 PV was release today. I haven't listen to anything by BoA single her 「BEST OF SOUL」 album, so I don't feel the right to judge this PV. She definitely show that she can dance, not too sure about the vocal and lyrics though. But is her j-pop and k-pop style this hip hop? Or is it just a way to appeal to the US market? I'm seeing mix feedback about this PV, and I kind of have the feeling it'll be more successful than previous Hikki's attempt.
And yay, I found Chinese subs for Shugo Chara episode 52+
But it's in simplified Chinese... ah well, it's better than nothing! I'll just take this as an adventage to learn more simplified Chinese characters!
And another yay! I found this and it got me waaay hyped up:
It's a NDS game that suppose to teach you Japanese! I've been eying for this since I first the "My Coach" game line. I just can't believe it really did happen
I tried playing some of it, but it's too early to judge yet. Hopefully it can actually help me brush up on my high school knowledge and teach me some new things!
My header for LJ been a little.. whacked lately. I think imageshack is to blame for that, not LJ. At any rate, I'm going to take this as a sign that I should get a new layout =P
