just in time for Halloween!

I had one very amusing conversation with my kid today. It's actually not that funny, but some how I can't stop laughing about it. We just got back from a super short trip to the gas station, where he got some chips. I told him to put the change in his pocket and he did, but apparently his pocket is not deep enough and it all fell out while he was still inside the car. I picked it up and got him to hold on to it with his hands. We're walking back to his house as we had this conversation:
me: When we get inside, put the money away first okay?
kid: No I have to change!
me: Yes, you can change. But put the change away first.
kid: I have to change first!
me: Yes, you will change! But first put the money back!
kid: I have to change!
me: *laughing* Buddy, are you even listening to me? Hey listen; put the money back in the wallet then go change, okay?
He did put the money away before changing, but I also made sure to remind him as soon as we got inside. I guess what's amusing is I don't know if he really didn't hear me or was just being stubborn.

Mom made a raincoat for Ernie from an old raincoat we had long ago. That thing looks so funny with it on him XD They keep telling me not to laugh at him (cause he has feelings too and know when I'm making fun of him) but I can't help it! It's just too funny! I'll most definitely post a picture on here some time soon!

And gosh, Gilmore Girls is sooo good!
