ATTN: Pennsylvania; PLOW YOUR DAMN ROADS!
so this morning im driving back to pgh, and im flying through new york, i got to the last tolbooth on the 90 in 45 mins, and i was on pace to make it to pgh in 2.5 hours.
so i get to the toll booths and there are lines, and the lines are stopped. not moving slowly. FUCKING STOPPED.
after about 10 mins they start moving, so i fly through and on the other side, a freakin traffic jam! how the hell could this be, i ask myself, since NO CARS WE BEING ALLOWED THROUGH THE TOLLBOOTH?!
after a very long traffic jam (it took me 1 hour to get from ripley ny to erie pa (about 18 miles) the only cause for the delay is the fact that there were 2 patches of the thruway that were not fully plowed. yes, 2 10 foot long patches of the thruway still had a full snow pile in one lane. roughly 20 feet of snow slowed down hundreds of people today for over an hour!
what the fuck?! i could have got out and shoveled that out of there in about 5 mins, theres no excuse for that, PA north of erie can die.
