(no subject)
so, i got some kinda shocking news last night in my news class, Barry Lavery, my favorite teacher/idol, is retiring....right now.
we all knew he was gunna retire soon, because he always talked about it, we all thought it would be a year or two before he actully did...he was even scheduled to teach classes next quarter, but he just decided now was his time i guess...
apparently he's comming back twice a year, to teach the nature class, which i have no intrest in, but will prolly end up taking anyways, just because hes such an amazing teacher.
sorry about rambling, i dont really know where im going with this, its just kinda sad, but im happy for him (hes been teaching at aip since 1973!!!) so i hope he enjoys his retirement ^^
