i forgot i had this thing...
but yeah.
i quit my job which i had held for the last 3 years and 9 months. everyother day i would go in and there would be a new rule documented in the company's online handbook. we weren't allowed to socialize in anyway outside of lunch. we weren't allowed to leave for lunch. and there was even a "rule" created stating how to open and close the door to the office as to not disturb other "team members." so all in all i finally said enough was enough. started applying to a bunch of full time serving positions and was hired at the cheesecake factory... i promptly gave my notice.
now. i don't plan on being a server for the rest of my life... although the money promises to be better than what i was making at Pebblehaven. I do plan on going back to school. the only question now is where and what kind of program. I have to decide between a certificate program for publishing at BU or just going for my masters at Emerson... well Emerson would have to accept me first... sooo.
so lets see. almost all of those things i had listed in the previously entry have been completed. i went to the big e. watched my 28 year old brother ride around on one of those mini motorcycle things that jodie won for him. i honestly can't remember the last time i lauged so hard. i went apple picking and i totally ate my share of cider donuts.
the weather is getting cold and everything is turning gray. it makes me a little sad... but i am looking forward to the holidays for the most part. i am definitely looking forward to decorating the apartment... this may or may not include some sort of roof top decorations. people really shouldn't give me these crazy ideas.
i haven't made any pictures lately. which i am feeling pretty down about. i just have roll after roll after roll of color film that i can't afford to get processed and that makes me feel even more down. i am in a weird transitional state right now... maybe now with all my free time before or after shifts at the cheesecake i can dedicate more time to a certain project. AND hopfully i will make some money to put towards getting the stuff i have already done processed.
