So my first week is done.
I think I will like the job, but I find right now I'm still so unfamiliar that I get frustrated because I really don't know what I am doing. I know it's only been a week but I feel like I barely know anything.
They are very big into culture at work. Everything from giving us ice cream at full company meetings to taking a team out for lunch, to a yogurt bar once a month. It's pretty frigging cool and that seems really good for me, I'm just frustrated right now.
I think I will probably laugh at this post in a month, but I hate feeling lost!
I am picking up some stuff, but the project I'm working on is totally in the red right now and I am a little stressed about it. I don't know enough to know if we will be able to fix it. So I go and tell people dates and then they laugh at me and I'm like "well I am new, so yeah.." Lol.
Today was boring. My entire department was out of the office most of the day (my boss all day) so I left a few minutes early because I had nothing to do lol. I think I will be busy and I think I will be okay, but I hate when companies don't have training, it's so frustrating.
Oh well. I'm off to my parents' house for the night, I plan on drinking the bottle of wine in my bag lol.
