No vice is so bad as advice.

I just went for a walk to the beach and back. My face is all shiny with sweat and my back is stuck to the shirt I'm wearing. That's gross. The Eagles are playing on the radio as they're doing a tribute to all the songs that were released in 1977. I'm about to go shopping when Mum returns from the gym. I need to buy two birthday presents and an anniversary gift.

I had this grand idea to start writing songs last night. So I wrote one, and it stinks. It's perhaps the worst handful of lyrics ever. Ever. I guess it takes time and effort so I'll keep at it until I produce something of merit.

I've noticed that every time I'm rude to my mum, like say, I raise my voice or say something I know I shouldn't have, something bad always happens to me. For instance, today I said something innappropriate and within seconds, I stubbed my big toe. In the past, I've run into tables, tripped and even smacked my head after being mean to my mum. How's that for instantaneous karma? That's a lesson right there. I'd better be nice to my mum.
