Thanksgiving was interesting for me. I tried to get along with my sister as best as possible, and for the most part it went ok. ReBecca started everything, I let it stand in the air and make her look like a bitch, rather than fight back. I hope i broke our natural cycle. In other news, John seemed to be a hit with the family. My aunt Ida likes him and thats a good sign. The weekend was quiet, we all sat around and actually got along up in the semi cold hills of arkansas.
on the way home me and john stopped at the Spiro Mounds (so i could verify some info on my Croatan stuff) and the Heavner Rune Stone, a Rune stone dated to be from around 800 a.d. claiming the area of Heavner as "Glome's Land" yes, thats right, for those of you who don't know there were vikings in Oklahoma in the times of the mound builders.
I've decided that i'm only going to use this LJ for cam stuff after this post. my other lj soul_journey, is going to be a friend's only list that i will talk about my real life on it. While i was up in AR, i decided i need to draw a big fat line between the two. if i don't want you as my friend you won't be able to read the posts. If your on that friends list congratulations. if your not, its either because i don't know you well enough, didn't want you there, or didn't recognise your lj tag...or i might have just forgotten.
