ok, ok i am updating!
annie has finally opened! i was just supposed to be assistant directing, but some people dropped out so now i am in the show. i am actually really glad now that i am doing it. also, i am taking a 2 week break from my job at the music mill to work at castleton square mall at santa's photo booth. NO, I AM NOT AN ELF! (sorry mary-margaret, no sexy tree nymph) i wear a red sweatshirt, so don't get too excited! it pays well, and hopefully it will help me get even more into the christmas spirit. either that or i might just go insane. who knows!? i am joining the ymca tomorrow. time to get healthy! i have been seeing a dietitian and have lost a couple pounds so far. please feel free to post cliche inspirational quotes! i have been cast as amnesia in nunsense at the artists studio. i am so glad i have had a chance lately to do such diverse roles. i really think it is helping my confidence on and offstage. and finally, drum-roll please..... i am talking to a guy. this person is really a surprise to me. i used to work with him, but i was dating a certain someone at the time (who i hear is engaged...yeah totally time to move on), and never realized there was a connection there. he came in to eat last week and asked what i was up to and told me to call him. i told him to call ME and told him about doing annie. i kinda laughed and said "you should come see it". well, he came opening night and even went out with the cast afterward. it was so nice to not feel like a had to "babysit" a guy in a social situation. he was funny, sweet, outgoing, and affectionate. is this what it is supposed to be like? i am not used to this! we met up again on sunday, and he called me on monday. it is nice to be pursued by someone you actually like. hopefully more on this development soon! hey claire and denise, so cool to see you at miss saigon, too bad the saddest moment in the show made us laugh! love to all
