Kandee: Update and Belly Pic
I'm due April 27th, which puts me at 18 weeks today. I am crossposting this to the may2008 and the april_08_babies comm. Anyhow I had my midwife appointment on the 14th but I don't believe I ever posted about it.
I love my midwife. She literally spends an hour and half to two plus hours. When she asks how you are...she listens!! Anyhow my bloodwork came back great. I'm healthy as healthy gets. I'm not however immune to toxmoplasmosis which isn't a big deal but surprises me considering I've always had cats. Though I don't ever touch the litter box, lol. Yuck. I gained 4 pounds, :(. That was hard for me. Considering that means I've gained a total of 13 pounds so far. Eeek!! My uterus was two fingers tips below my belly button and this week I noticed it's actually moved above it now. I suspect that puts me a few weeks ahead but that's quite normal for me.
On December 11th, I have an ultrasound scheduled. I will find out the sex most likely. I'm also excited because I've been reading Ina May's Guide to Childbrith to prepare myself for the homebirth.
